Back in the States!!

Wed (Oct 1st) we left Quebec and drove south into Maine.  The fall colours are absolutely amazing here!!!  We stopped a couple of times to take pictures of the landscape.

I must say we were quite relieved to be back in the land of english signage... and newspapers!








We ended up finding a campground in Canaan, Maine. The kitties got out for a quick walk before dark - and Tawny met the resident camping cat.  I don't think she was much impressed with his male overtures... but on the upside, the fall colours continue to be amazing...
